READ: I found myself in a bit of a funk earlier this week. Between some post partem feelings after the big move, processing grandma’s passing, and having shorter winter days with less sunlight, I found myself feeling very sad, mad and unmotivated. In a word, stuck. Fortunately, I have some wonderful colleagues, family and friends who helped talk me into a better state. I also have a great business coach who decided to use play to help get me unstuck. By proposing that we set up and incentivize a new and audacious monthly income goal for 2018, I instantly felt a shift in my mind. I felt like the lights had come back on. I was in it to win it once again. If you’re feeling kind of stuck yourself, you might try finding a way to play your way out. Here’s an article with lots of good suggestions.
LISTEN: I had a friend’s holiday party in East Nashville to attend last night, or else I would have been at Parnassus Books listening to Bela Fleck and Abigail Washburn play songs off their beautiful new record, ‘Echo in The Valley.’
Make this week magnificent!
